Phi Tau Traditions - Living in the Chapter House
Built in 1933, the chapter house has been home to more than a thousand men. Living there is an incomparable, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. After college, you will never again have the chance to spend daily life in an enormous house built exclusively for fun, friendship and memories with dozens of your friends. The result is a genuine, college-life experience.

Living in the chapter house is also important to sustaining the brotherhood and building skills. The fun, memories, stories and lessons learned keep the chapter strong, united and in good spirits. In addition , departing residents also leave with strong skills in leadership; personal relationships; self-discipline, prioritization and balance..

Over the years, many things have changed about the house and the students who live there. Through it all, the chapter house remains a great place for young men to live, work, study, grow and play. Most importantly, living in the chapter house remains a powerful and uniting Phi Tau tradition.

2010 Football Program Details
Over the years, Phi Kappa Tau has operated a Penn State Football Ticket program for its members. In fact, we began this program in 1983 by offering 4 tickets and one hotel room. This will be our 27th year continuing this tradition.

For the last fours years, the Omicron Board of Directors will use the Football Ticket Program as a fundraiser. The purpose of this year’s Football Ticket Fundraiser is to raise a modest amount of money for the Chapter. But more importantly, we want to reconnect with brothers from across the decades.

How to Participate & What You Will Receive
For each of the 7 home games this year, the Omicron Association has 16 tickets in 4 ticket blocks throughout the stadium. In many cases we have hotel rooms available at the Ramada Inn. Each room is a non-smoking room, with 2 double beds but must be rented for both Friday and Saturday nights of game day weekends.

Due to expected demand and interest, we have set aside two games as premium games which are Homecoming against Illinois (October 9) and against Michigan (October 30).

For premium games, we are recommending donations that exceed face value. Your donation for premium game tickets will include a Chapter House tailgate party for Homecoming and a stadium or Chapter House tailgate for Michigan.
